"Lancaster Squared"
For the past several months I've been working on a project in conjunction with the Lancaster City Human Relations Commission. That project is called "Lancaster Squared", and it is about diversity in Lancaster city.
To date the body of work includes more than 65 portraits in black and white, showing the faces of people we see and connect with every day. These portraits were created in partnership with the people in them, all of whom chose or suggested two other people in the city to be photographed - hence the title of the show.
It has been an honor and a joy to make these portraits and I will continue doing so. I hope you will join me and members of the Human Relations Commission at the opening reception of the show on Friday October 5, 5-9 PM at the Southern Market Center in Lancaster, or find time to view these photos on Oct 6 or 7.
